Is the Free plan really free forever?+
Yes. The Free plan supports up to 5 units with no time limit. You only pay if you need more capacity — and upgrading is instant.
What counts as a "unit"?+
Any rentable space you collect rent for. A single-family home is one unit. A duplex is two. A six-unit block is six. Vacant units between tenancies don't affect your plan.
Can I switch plans later?+
Yes, at any time in either direction. Upgrades take effect immediately. Your existing data, tenants, and payment history are never affected.
What happens to my data if I leave?+
It's yours. You can export all your records — properties, tenants, leases, payments — at any time. We don't hold data hostage.
Do my tenants pay anything?+
Never. The tenant self-service portal and receipt verification are completely free for tenants. They don't need an account either — just a private link.
How is billing handled?+
Payments are processed monthly via Pesapal. You'll receive a receipt for every payment made, in UGX.
